Singapore is often described as a city where tradition meets modernity. Known for its spotless streets, futuristic skyline, and lush green spaces, it stands out as one of the cleanest and most organized cities in the world. The mix of cultures—Chinese, Malay, Indian, and Western—creates a unique atmosphere that is reflected in its food, festivals, and daily life.

After my time in Kuala Lumpur, I traveled to Singapore on a luxury bus, which was a comfortable and scenic journey. I immediately noticed how clean and well-structured the city felt, and I was impressed by the level of organization. I visited a famous restaurant specializing in Malay cuisine, where the flavors were rich and authentic.

It was also the time of the Chinese New Year, the Year of the Pig, so the city was beautifully decorated with red lanterns and festive ornaments. I made my way to Sentosa Island, where I saw the iconic Merlion and even entered the casino—just a quick scan of the passport granted access. At night, I joined the crowd to watch the city’s famous light and water show, a dazzling performance that has become a nightly tradition in Singapore.
