From Venice, I traveled to Milan, Italy’s capital of fashion and design. One of the highlights was visiting the Milan Cathedral (Duomo di Milano), one of the largest churches in the world and a masterpiece of Gothic architecture. Its intricate spires and statues make it a symbol of the city, and standing before it was truly impressive.

I also saw the statue of Leonardo da Vinci in Piazza della Scala, a tribute to one of the greatest minds of the Renaissance, who spent many years in Milan. Another stop was Sforzesco Castle (Castello Sforzesco), a historic fortress that now houses museums and art collections, offering a glimpse into the city’s cultural past.

For food, I tried the famous Spontini pizza, known for its thick, soft base and generous cheese topping — a true Milanese classic.
