london

It had been a long time since London last saw snow, but I was lucky enough to witness it during my trip.

On my first day, I visited Westminster, where I came across a monument dedicated to the women of World War II. From there, I walked to St. James’s Park, entering through the Heart Gate and enjoying the beautiful winter scenery. Later, I went to the London Eye and captured some great shots of the city from across the river. I also made my way to Tower Hamlets – Whitechapel, where I photographed the view near the bridge.

At the airport, I had an unexpected encounter with an engineer who was traveling back and forth regularly. Since it was Bayram, he kindly treated me to a coffee at Costa, which was a warm and memorable gesture.

At my hostel, I met Tucker and Max, an Australian traveler, who quickly became my game buddies in the evenings. Exploring London, I enjoyed spotting the iconic red telephone booths and the classic black cabs. One of the highlights was visiting Hyde Park, a huge green space where I saw graceful swans swimming peacefully.

I also wandered through Chinatown, full of colors and life, and stumbled upon a café with a sign that read “Sherlock Holmes”, which felt like stepping into a story. Of course, I couldn’t miss the British Museum, where I spent hours exploring its incredible collections.

To top it all off, I went to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to watch a Premier League match. The atmosphere was electric, and it turned out to be one of the most enjoyable experiences of the trip.

London truly gave me a mix of history, culture, and fun encounters—I’ll remember it for a long time.
