Krabi, located on the Andaman Sea in southern Thailand, is a paradise of limestone cliffs, turquoise waters, and countless islands that attract travelers from all around the world. Known for its stunning beaches and unique natural formations, Krabi offers both adventure and spirituality, blending breathtaking landscapes with cultural depth.

During my trip, I explored several islands, including the famous Chicken Island, with its iconic rock formation that resembles the head of a chicken. I also visited a sacred cave filled with offerings shaped like wooden phalluses, a place tied to fertility beliefs and local legends. The mix of myth and nature made it a truly memorable stop.

Another highlight was the Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Sua), a spiritual site surrounded by lush jungle. Climbing up to the temple, I witnessed the serene atmosphere and deep devotion of the monks. A monk dressed in yellow robes even gave me a bracelet as a blessing, something I still cherish.

Krabi’s local markets also left a strong impression on me. I wandered through the stalls with a French friend I had met, who studied Chinese language and literature in China, and together we tasted many local specialties. It was an amazing cultural exchange through food.

Along the way, I also met Rasim, who lives in Belgium, and our conversations made the journey even more colorful. Krabi wasn’t just about its landscapes—it became a place of stories, connections, and unforgettable encounters.
